Kisling, Nestico & Redick – They Regularly Go Jump In a Lake

Established in 2005, the law firm Kisling, Nestico & Redick (KNR) has served the Ohio area, advocating for thousands of clients. They specialize in personal injury law, known for aggressively going up against insurance companies to get the settlements deserved by victims of others’ negligence. Eight of their lawyers were recently recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine as Super Lawyers or Rising Stars, recognition that is awarded to fewer than 5% of lawyers in a state.

The firm has been recognized as one of the fastest growing in the state, with almost 400 lawyers on staff and 130 support personnel. They have become known for their success in garnering settlements for their clients. To date, they have secured almost $500 million in awarded restitution since their inception.

In addition to fighting for the citizens of their state against large insurance companies, the firm also believes in helping those in their community in other ways. One way of doing that was by participating in the 16th Annual Portage Lakes Polar Bear Jump that was held in February. No matter, the folks at Kisling, Nestico & Redick think the water was great! They jumped into frigid water along with several hundred other local participants who were all taking part in the fundraising efforts. This event is one that KNR has supported over a number of years.

As part of their initiative, KNR Cares About Kids, the Portage Lakes Polar Bear Jump is just one event in a series of events that KNR participates in over the year to help children in Ohio. Working with The Portage Lakes Polar Bear Club, KNR and others participate in this event to help support the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank which helps to provide meals for close to 500 food banks and other similar support groups.

One of the founders and managing partners of KNR, Rob Nestico, had this to say about the event. “Each time we’ve participated in the Polar Bear Jump, it has been a highlight of our year. There’s something special about coming together with other members of our community and freezing to show our support to help those in need.” You can learn more about the firm by going to¬†
